The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 08.09.2025, for the offence punishable under Sections 303(2) of BNS Act in Crime No.407 of 2025, registered on the file of the respondent, seeks bail. 1/4

2. The allegation against the petitioner is that the petitioner committed theft of the defacto complainant' gold chain while travelling in the bus. Hence, the case.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prays to grant bail to the petitioner.

4. Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police reiterated the prosecution case and submitted that, apart from this case, petitioner has 4 previous cases. Hence, he strongly opposed the grant of bail to the petitioner.

5. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

6. Considering the bad antecedents against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. 2/4
