The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 27.08.2025, for the offences punishable under Section 406, 420, 465, 466, 468 and 506(i) IPC in Crime No.93 of 2025 on the file of the respondent Police, seeks bail.

2. The allegation against the petitioner is that the petitioner claiming himself as owner of the property and executed sale deed in favour of defacto complainant and obtained a sum of Rs.10 lakhs. Subsequently, it revealed that the property was sold earlier and the petitioner was not the owner of the property and also it revealed that this petitioner has committed similar offence and cheated five persons to the tune of Rs.17 lakhs. Hence, the case has been registered.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is only a power agent and he was not aware about the property and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He further submitted that the petitioner is in custody from 27.08.2025. Hence, he prays to grant bail to the petitioner.
4. The learned Government Advocate reported that totally there are five accused in this case and that the petitioner is ranked as A1. The petitioner (A1) joined hands with other two accused sold various lands belongs to the various persons claiming himself as they are the owner of property and thereby five victims were cheated. He further submitted that investigation is still pending. Hence, he oppose to grant bail to the petitioner. 2/4

Considering the fact that huge sum of Rs.17 lakhs has been cheated by the petitioner and as far as defacto complainant is concerned, the accused sold the land to him for Rs.10 lakhs and subsequently, it revealed that the said land was not belonged to the petitioner and investigation in this case is pending, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
