ORDER
The writ petitioner herein seeks a direction to the second respondent to issue a site visit certificate to the petitioner, enabling them to participate in the e-tender floated by the first respondent for construction of additional facilities in Government High School at Pottanam in Sendamangalam Taluk of Namakkal District, vide e-tender notice No.NIT.24/2024-25/B (C & M) Circle/Erode/ dated 22.11.2024, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 06.12.2024.
2. It is the case of the petitioner that the first respondent issued a tender notification, inviting bid for execution of the above mentioned work. As per the tender condition, the bidders shall submit site visit
certificate, issued by the second respondent along with the bid. The petitioner made a request to the second respondent to issue site visit certificate, however, he failed to issue the same. Therefore, the petitioner sent a representation to the second respondent on 10.12.2024 seeking issuance of site visit certificate and the same has not been favourably considered. Hence, the petitioner has come before this court.
3. Mr.V.Jeevagiridaran, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that, if the petitioner appears before the second respondent today at 2.00 p.m., necessary certificate will be issued to the petitioner before 4.00 p.m.
4. The above statement of the learned Additional Government Pleader is recorded.
5. Inview of the above, the petitioner is directed to appear before the second respondent today (19.12.2024) at 2.00 p.m. and the second respondent shall complete the formalities and issue necessary site visit
certificate to the petitioner by 4.00 p.m. today to enable the petitioner to submit the bid tomorrow (20.12.2024).
6. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
