The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 12.07.2025, for the offence punishable under Sections 296(b), 118(1), 109(1) and 351(3) of BNS in Crime No.221 of 2025, registered on the file of the respondent, seeks bail.

2. The allegation against the petitioner is that, due to civil dispute, petitioner along with other accused attacked the defacto complainant, due to defacto complainant sustained grievous injuries. Hence, the case.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prays to grant bail to the petitioner.

4. Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police reiterated the prosecution case and submitted that the injured victim is still taking treatment in the hospital. Hence, he strongly opposed the grant of bail to the petitioner.

5. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

6. Considering the gravity of the offence committed by the petitioner and also considering the fact that the injured victim is still taking treatment in the hospital, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the 2/4

petitioner.
