Side) COMMON ORDER The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 5 and 7(3) of the Lottery Regulation Act, 1998, read with Section 318 of the BNS Act, 2023, in Crime No. not known of 2025, on the file of the respondents police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with other accused was engaged in the sale of banned lottery ticket near Gudiyatham Bus stand. Hence, a case came to be registered by the Thiruvannamalai Town Police Station, Thiruvannamalai District in Crime No.317 of 2025. 3.Learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that the petitioner has been granted anticipatory bail by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.27473 of 2025 vide order dated 03.10.2025 in connection with Crime No.317 of 2025, on the file of Thiruvannamalai Town Police Station for the very same offences. 2/4
