JUDGMENT
When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that the petitioner died on 25.11.2024 at Central Prison, Coimbatore and a case was registered in Coimbatore City, Race Course Police Station in Crime No.567 of 2024 for the offence under Section 196(2)(a) of BNSS, 2023 and the investigation is pending. The counter affidavit of the respondent confirms the said fact. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner, who has been appointed as Legal Aid Counsel, has no instructions.
3.Recording the submission of the learned Government Advocate, the Criminal Appeal is dismissed as abated.
