ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to act upon the application submitted by the petitioner on 25.08.2024 wherein the petitioner is seeking for the survey of the subject property and demarcation of boundaries.

Heard Mr.S.Karan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S.Jayachandran, learned Government Advocate for Respondents 1 and 2. 3.
The petitioner is claiming right through an unregistered settlement deed dated 17.11.2008. The petitioner is also placing reliance upon the joint patta issued in Patta No.437. The petitioner submitted an on-line application on 25.08.2023 seeking for survey of the subject property and for demarcation of boundaries. Since the same was not acted upon, the present writ petition has been filed before this court.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the
respondents to act upon the online application submitted by the petitioner and conduct the survey in the subject property based on the title deed and the joint patta that stands in the name of the petitioner. The entire process shall be completed within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If there are any rival claimants, the survey shall be conducted in their presence.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
