ORDER

The petitioner, who apprehends arrest for the alleged offence under Sections 20(b)(ii)(B) and 8(c) of Narcotic Drugs & Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 and 25(1) (a) of Arms Act, 1959 in Cr.No.389 of 2025 on the file 1/4

of the respondent police seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with other accused found in possession of 1.200kgs of ganja. Hence, the complaint.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the based on the confession of other accused, this petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case. He further submitted that the co-accused was enlarged on bail by this Court in Crl.OP.No.27456 of 2025 dated 03.10.2025. Hence, he prayed that anticipatory bail may be granted to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent police reiterated the prosecution case and reported that the petitioner is the main accused. Based on the confession of arrested coaccused, the petitioner is arrayed as an accused and this petitioner is having six previous cases, which are similar in nature. Hence, he opposed the grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

6. Considering the fact that the petitioner is having bad antecedents and he is also having six previous cases, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
