ORDER
The present Transfer Petition has been filed by the petitioner/wife seeking transfer of H.M.O.P.No.2907 of 2024, pending on the file of the III Additional Family Court, Chennai, to the file of the Family Court, Puducherry.
2. Despite service of notice, the respondent has neither chosen to appear in person nor through counsel. The name of the respondent is also shown in the cause list today.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner/wife has been arrayed as the respondent in H.M.O.P.No.2907 of 2024, filed by the respondent/husband herein before the III Additional Family Court, Chennai. The petitioner is a permanent resident of Puducherry and, hence, seeks transfer of the said proceedings to the Family Court, Puducherry.

4. I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the affidavit filed in support of the transfer petition. I am satisfied with the reasons stated by the petitioner for seeking transfer.
5. In the light of the above, this Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition is allowed. Accordingly, H.M.O.P.No.2907 of 2024 is withdrawn from the file of the III Additional Family Court, Chennai, and transferred to the file of the Family Court, Puducherry. No costs.
