The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 316, 318(4), and 319 of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023 in Crime No.Not Known of 2025, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.

The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent, on instructions submitted that the First Information Report has been registered in Crime No.493 of 2025 and that the investigation is still pending.

Recording the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to file a fresh application with the crime number.
