This Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking direction to the respondents to remove the petitioner's name from History Sheet vide HS12/2008, since there is no case is pending against the petitioner.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents police submitted that on receipt of the representation and on verification of records, the 2 nd respondent police has made recommendation to the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Washermentpet/1 st respondent to remove the petitioner's name from History Sheet.

3. Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
