Respondents This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issue of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records of the second respondent herein made in Ref.P1/14/59/VRS/2003 dated 1.9.2003 and quash the same and consequently forbear the respondents on their subordinates from receiving the petitioner in pursuance of the VRS Scheme dated 30.11.2011. The learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner represents that he has no specific instructions from the writ petitioner, but a representation is
made across the Bar that the Hindustan Photo Film Manufacturing Company Limited at Ootacamund was closed and the employees of the Management were allowed to go on Voluntary Retirement Scheme (VRS) and all the employees, numbering 646, opted Voluntary Retirement Scheme and was relieved from service. The dues of those employees were also settled by the Management and the grievances of a few employees alone are yet to be redressed.
2. In view of this fact, the prayer, as such, sought for in this writ petition, deserves no further consideration and accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed, however, there shall be no order as to costs. 30-06-2017 Speaking Order/Non-Speaking Order Index : Yes/No.
