This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to file a final report in Crime No.423 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police and perused the materials available on record.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police, on instructions submitted that after completion of investigation in Crime No.423 of 2021, charge sheet was filed through e-filing on 23.09.2024 vide e-filing No. CCL TN 20230003048 /C202400121 before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Pallavaram.

4. Since the respondent-Police has completed the investigation and filed the charge sheet before the magistrate concerned, nothing survives for further adjudication in this Criminal Original Petition. Hence, the Criminal Original Petition is closed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
