O R D E R

The civil revision petition seeks for expeditious disposal of O.S.No.70 of 2023 on the file of the learned District Munsif, Palladam.

2. When the matter came up for admission on 09.01.2025, I called for a report from the learned District Munsif, Palladam to state as to how long he requires to dispose of O.S.No.70 of 2023.

3. The learned District Munsif, Palladam has sent a report stating that the service of summons to the defendants has been completed on 10.09.2024. Now the suit has been posted on 01.02.2025 for filing written statement. The report further states that more number of old cases are pending before him. He is also holding full additional charge of District Munsif Court, Avinashi from 21.09.2024 and sitting on every Wednesday. Therefore, he requests atleast 6 to 9 months time to dispose of the suit in O.S.No.70 of 2023.

4. Taking into consideration the report of the learned Trial Judge, there shall be a direction to the learned District Munsif, Palladam to dispose of O.S.No.70 of 2023 within a period of eight months from the 2/4

date of receipt of a copy of this order.
