Respondents Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records of the first respondent in Pro.Na.Ka.No.6049/2004/PC dated 17.06.2004, quash the same and to direct the first respondent to allow the petitioner to continue in the same School.

The writ petition has been filed challenging the order of transfer, which has been passed by the fourth respondent dated 17.06.2004.

When the case is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent reported that since the petitioner, who is aged about 65 years has already retired from service, the relief sought for in the writ petition has become infructuous and nothing survives for further adjudication. There is no representation for the petitioner.
