This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondents for their wilful disobedience in not complying with the order dated 27.07.2023 passed by this Court in W.P.No.24859 of 2014.

2. When this Contempt Petition was taken up, the learned Government Advocate for the respondents has produced copy of Letter No.10087056/FR.2(i)/2025-1 dated 21.04.2025 issued by the Additional Chief Secretary to Government of Tamil Nadu, Environment, Climate Change and Forests (FR.2) Department and Proc.No.AB2/32196/2023 dated 22.04.2025 issued by the first respondent to show that order of this Court dated 27.07.2023 has been complied with.
