The instant writ petition has been filed with a prayer for issuing a Mandamus directing the first to third respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 02.12.2024 within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

2. Though notice has been served, the respondents have not entered appearance, either in person or through Counsel. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the materials available on record. 2/5

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that he has given a representation dated 02.12.2024 for compassionate appointment on death of her father, viz.,Duraisamy, who died while he was in service on 24.04.2017, and such representation is pending with the respondents.

4. In such view of the matter, without going to the merits of this Writ Petition, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 02.12.2024, and pass orders on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. In the result, this Writ Petition is disposed of with the above observations. No costs.
