(Order of the Court was made by C.V.Karthikeyan, J.) The application has been filed to condone the delay of 193 days in filing the application to set aside the order of the Official Assignee rejecting the claim petition of the applicant herein.

2.It is contended that the petition was rejected for non-prosecution. The explanation offered is that the applicant was travelling and was not in a position to appear before the Official Assignee. With respect to the reasons for the delay to be condoned for which this application has been filed, it had been stated that the applicant was staying with his daughter in New Zealand till November 2023 and thereafter had to file the application questioning the rejection by the Official Assignee and in this process there has been a delay.

3.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the Official Assignee.
