O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of a writ of mandamus directing the second respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 25.10.2024 wherein the petitioner is seeking for issuance of patta in her name with respect to the subject property.

2. Heard Mr.M.S.Swathish Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.P.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents.

3. The petitioner is placing reliance upon five sale deeds dated 25.10.1988, 25.09.1995, 22.08.2007, 16.12.2011 and 19.01.2012, which were executed in favour of the petitioner's mother. The further case of the petitioner is that the petitioner's mother had executed a Will dated 03.01.2020 in favour of the petitioner. She died on 13.04.2023. Thereafter, the Will came into force and the petitioner submitted a representation before the second respondent seeking for transfer of patta in her name since the petitioner has succeded to the property. Since the same was not considered,

the present writ petition has been filed before this court.

4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials placed before this court, there shall be a direction to the petitioner to submit a fresh online application to the second respondent along with all the relevant documents and particulars. On receipt of the same, the second respondent shall deal with it on its own merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of the online application from the petitioner.

5. This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
