ORDER

This petition has been filed to modify the condition in para 7(a), imposed on the petitioners in Crl.O.P.No.34978 of 2023, dated 20.09.2024, that the petitioners shall report before the respondent police on everyday at 10:00 a.m., until further orders.

Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that the petitioners have not regularly complied with the condition of appearing before 1/4

the respondent police as per the order of this Court in Crl.O.P.No.34978 of 2023, dated 20.09.2024 and further submits that the investigation is pending. 3.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that the petitioners herein are family members, the first and the second petitioners are senior citizens and they are under going medical treatment at Chennai. He further submits that the third and fourth petitioners are carrying out textile business in Chennai, therefore, the petitioners are put in great hardship in complying with the condition of appearing before the respondent police on everyday at 10:00 a.m. Therefore, he prayed to modify the condition of appearing before the respondent police.

Considering the submissions of both sides and the nature of offence, the condition in para 7(a), imposed on the petitioners in Crl.O.P.No.34978 of 2023, dated 20.09.2024, is modified to the effect that the first and second petitioners herein shall report before the respondent police as and when required for interrogation, the third and the fourth petitioners herein shall report before the respondent police everyday at 10:30 a.m., for a period of one week and thereafter every Saturday at 06:30 p.m., until further orders.

Accordingly, this criminal miscellaneous petition is ordered. 22.01.2025 stn 2/4
