ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the learned XI Metropolitan Magistrate, CCB & CBCID Court Egmore, Chennai, to expedite the trial and to conclude the calendar case in C.C.No.5772 of 2018 within a stipulated period in accordance with law.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police submitted that the trial has already commenced and so far, three witnesses have been examined and summons have been issued to the rest of the witnesses.

3. In view of the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, there is no necessity to pass any order in this petition. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 20.12.2024 Index : Yes / No Speaking Order : Yes / No ksa-2 2/4
