Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records relating to the order of the first respondent in No.Nil dated 13.02.2004 and consequential order of the first respondent appointing the fourth respondent as Headmaster and quash the same and further direct the eighth respondent to appoint the petitioner as Headmaster of the Salvation Army Higher Secondary School, Vetturanimadam. ORDER
The petitioner has filed the present writ petition challenging the order of the first respondent in No.Nil dated 13.02.2004 appointing the fourth respondent as Headmaster and for consequential direction to the eighth respondent to appoint the petitioner as Headmaster of the Salvation Army Higher Secondary School, Vetturanimadam.

When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents, on instructions, states that the petitioner retired from service on 31.10.2015 and later died on 02.08.2017. The learned counsel for the petitioner accepts the same and has made an endorsement to that effect.

In these circumstances, nothing further survives for adjudication in the matter and the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
