The petitioner has come up with this Writ Petition seeking to forbear the respondents from interfering with the peaceful possession of his land situated in S.No.376/16, Karadichitoor Village, Kallakurichi Taluk.

Heard the learned counsel on either side. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the building constructed by the petitioner in the land in question has already been demolished.

In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, nothing further survives for consideration in this matter. Hence, the Writ Petition is dismissed as having become infructuous.

It is made clear that if the petitioner has got any grievance, it is open to him to approach the respondents or the authority concerned and establish his title to the land in question and in such case, the authority concerned shall take a decision, after srutinizing necessary documents on the side of the petitioner. The dismissal of this Writ Petition will not prejudice the rights of the petitioner in any manner known to law.

No costs. Consequently, connected W.P.M.P.No.34805 of 2004 is closed.
