ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for issue of Writ of Mandamus directing the third respondent to deal with the application submitted by the petitioner, wherein the petitioner is seeking for transfer of name in the TSLR Register.
2. Heard Mr.P.Arasan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.Naveen Kumar, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 3.
3. The case of the petitioner is that the property was originally owned by her father named Velu @ Samuvel, by virtue of registered sale deed dated 09.06.1967, registered as Doc.No.1829/1967. The petitioner's father died on 29.05.1983 and after his demise, the property was enjoyed by his legal heirs. A partition suit came to be filed by the legal heirs of said Velu @ Samuvel in O.S.No.20 of 2017 on the file of II Additional District Court, Poonamallee and a 2/5
judgment and decree was passed by allotting the respective shares to the legal heirs.
4. The petitioner, as one of the legal heir of late Velu @ Samuvel, had applied for name transfer in the TSLR Register by incorporating the names of all the legal heirs, before the third respondent. The petitioner also submitted an application for mutation of TSLR for the very same purpose. Since the same was not acted upon by the third respondent, the present writ petition has been filed seeking for appropriate directions.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the third respondent to act upon the representation made by the petitioner on 08.09.2025, on its own merits and in accordance with law and necessary orders shall be passed within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If there are other interested parties available, notice shall be issued to them, before a final decision is taken by the respondents. 3/5
