This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the second respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioners on 14.12.2024 wherein the petitioners are seeking for issuance of patta with respect to the subject property.
2. Heard Mr.S.Lakshmikanth, learned counsel for petitioners, Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 and 2 and Mr.A.M.Ravindranath Jeyapal, learned Standing Counsel appearing for third respondent.

3. The petitioners are claiming right and title over the subject property through a Will dated 07.04.2016, which was executed by the maternal uncle of the petitioners. A probate was obtained before this Court in O.P.No.940 of 2017. The petitioners submitted a representation seeking for issuance of patta in their names. Since the same was not considered, the petitioners have filed the earlier writ petition in W.P.No.27457 of 2024. While filing this writ petition, the relief was sought for against the Housing Board. Therefore, this Court closed the writ petition by order dated 23.09.2024 by granting liberty to the petitioners to give a representation before the competent authority and work out the remedy. Pursuant to the above order, a representation was made before the respondents. Since the same was not acted upon, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.
4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the petitioners to submit a fresh OnLine application to the second respondent along with all the necessary particulars and paying the necessary charges. On receipt of the same, the second respondent shall act upon the application and 3/4
N. ANAND VENKATESH, J gm shall take a decision within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of the fresh OnLine application from the petitioner. This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction.
