Prayer:- Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to pay difference in leave salary difference in gratuity and pension arrears as per 15th wage settlement dated 29.05.2025 with 10 percentage interest to the petitioners.

O R D E R

This Writ petition has been filed with a prayer for issuing a Mandamus, to direct the respondents to pay the difference in leave salary, Gratuity and Pension arrears based on wage settlement dated 29.05.2025 with 10% interest to the petitioners.

2. Ms.S.Pavithra, and Mr.C.S.K.Sathish learned Standing counsel take notice for the Respondents 1 and 2 respectively.

3. By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

4.The case of the petitioners is that they served the respondent Corporation in various capacities and retired from service on various dates. It is the grievance of the petitioners that their representations made before the 2nd respondent dated 28.08.2025, 29.08.2025, 01.09.2025, 03.09.2025 2/5

& 05.09.2025 seeking to pay the difference in leave salary, gratuity and Pension arrears based on a wage settlement dated 29.05.2025 with 10% interest have not been considered till date. Hence, this present writ petition is filed.

5. The learned Standing Counsel for the respondents would fairly admit that in view of the similar orders passed by this Court in W.P.Nos.40031, 33742 and 35806 of 2024, they are willing to pay the interest at the rate of 6% per annum for the belated payment on the eligible and admissible amount.

In view of the above submission of the learned Standing Counsel, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the respondents to pay the eligible and admissible amount with interest at the rate of 6% per annum for the belated payment of terminal benefits, from the date of retirement till the date of actual disbursal of the terminal benefits of the petitioners, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. 3/5
