ORDER

This Contempt petition has been filed against the respondents for their wilful disobedience of the order dated 17.10.2024 in WMP No.32823 of 2024 in WP No.30117 of 2024.

When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the compliance affidavit was filed by the 3rd respondent. The relevant portion is extracted hereunder :-

6. In view of the same, the respondents have addressed a formal communication dated 12.02.2025 to the contempt petitioner / petitioner in the original writ petition calling upon 2/5

her to come forth and rejoin her duty, which shall be subject to any further orders which would be passed by this Court in the present contempt petition and in the writ petition. A copy of the said communication is annexed herewith. 3.

The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of respondents submitted that the communication dated 12.02.2025 has been addressed to New Life Placement Private Limited and the said entity has been requested to send a reinstatement letter to the petitioner. 4.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has not received any communication asking her to rejoin for work. 5.

In the considered view of this Court, the interim order passed on 17.10.2024 must be assigned some meaning and it cannot be defeated by a mere technicality. Hence, the petitioner can be permitted to rejoin the work starting from 17.02.2025 before the 3rd respondent. 3/5
