Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent-Police, on instructions, submitted that submitted that on completion of investigation in Crime No.627 of 2023 final report was filed through e-filing on 20.12.2024 vide e-filing No.LTN20230001614C202400484 before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Maduranthakam.

Since the respondent/Police has completed the investigation and filed the final report before the learned Magistrate concerned, nothing survives for adjudication in this Criminal Original Petition. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, the petitioner is at liberty to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
