The petitioner has filed this writ petition challenging the proceedings dated 27.02.2004 issued by the 1st respondent under Section 87 of the Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies Act, 1983.

2. Admittedly, there is an appeal remedy available under Section 152 of the Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies Act, 1983.

3. Accordingly, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to permit him to file an appeal before the appropriate forum.

4. Recording the same, this writ petition is dismissed. While computing limitation for the filing of the appeal, the period during which this writ petition was pending before this Court i.e., from 22.12.2004 till the date of receipt of a copy of this order shall be excluded. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
