Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent-Police, on instructions, submitted that on completion of investigation in Crime No.835 of 2022, the respondent-Police had filed the final report before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Ambattur and the same was taken on file in C.C.No.525 of 2024.
3. Since the respondent-Police has completed the investigation and filed the final report before the learned Magistrate concerned, nothing survives for adjudication in this Criminal Original Petition. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, the petitioner is at liberty to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
