Prayer:- Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents survey and fix boundaries of the land comprised in S.No.305/1C1 measuring 0 Acre 40 cents situated at Iruppali Village, Edappadi Taluk, Salem District and lay the boundary stones on the four corners by considering the petitioners representation dated 01.09.2025 within a time period to be fixed by this Honourable Court.

This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction directing the respondents to survey and fix boundaries of the land comprised in S.No.305/1C1 measuring 0 Acre 40 cents situated at Iruppali Village, Edappadi Taluk, Salem District and lay the boundary stones on the four corners by considering the petitioner's representation dated 01.09.2025 within a time period to be fixed by this Honourable Court.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.
3. The case of the petitioner is that she is the owner of the land comprised in S.No.305/1C1, measuring 0 Acre 40 cents situated at Iruppali Village, Edappadi Taluk, Salem District. In order to survey the said land, she submitted a representation before the respondents. However, the respondents did not take any steps to survey the aforesaid lands so far.
4. In view of the above, the 1st respondent is directed to survey the petitioner's aforesaid land based on the title deed produced by the petitioner, after issuance of notice to the adjacent land owners and counter parties, if any, and to serve the survey report to the petitioner within a 2/4
period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that, if the surveyor concerned is obstructed by third parties while surveying the subject land, the said surveyor can approach the jurisdictional police seeking police aid and on such request, the jurisdictional police shall provide adequate police protection to the surveyor.
5. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
