The relief sought for in this writ petition is to direct the respondent herein to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 20.08.2025.

2. Mr.U.Baranidharan, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the respondent. By consent of both the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final hearing at the admission stage itself.

3. The case of the petitioner is that the subject matter property in this writ petition belongs to petitioner's grandmother, who died intestate. The petitioner's son fraudulently affixed her signatures and had created instruments, including a settlement deed in favour of his wife by virtue of the forged will. In this regard, the petitioner filed a complaint before the authorities as early as 26.12.2023. Thereafter, both the parties were called for an enquiry by the respondent authority and the same was conducted. However, no order was passed. Thus, the petitioner sent a representation dated 20.08.2025 to the respondent, but no order was passed, as on date. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with the present writ petition.

4. Though many grounds have been raised in this writ petition, 2/5

learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that, it would suffice, if this Court issues direction to the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 20.08.2025.

5. Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent submitted that the petitioner's representation dated 20.08.2025 would be considered and appropriate orders passed, within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

6. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

Considering the limited relief sought for by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 20.08.2025, after giving due notice and opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner as well as aggrieved parties if any, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3/5

With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
