ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 3 and 4 to defer all further proceedings till the disposal of the civil suit in O.S.No.227 of 2014 on the file of District Munsif court, Sriperumbudur by considering the petitioner's objection dated 08.09.2025 within a time to be stipulated by this Court.

2.The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner is the owner of the property in Sy.No.241/2A2 and 241/2B in Varadharajapuram Village, Padappai Firka, Sriperumbudur Taluk, Kancheepuram District and that he purchased the same from the power of attorney of one Selvasekaran in the year 2012 by way of registered sale deeds in documents nos.864/2012 and 2417/2012 on the file of Padappai Sub Register Office. The further case of the petitioner is that the 5th respondent herein also claims to be owner of the very same property and she traces her title based on the document of the year 1983. In this regard, the 5th respondent has filed a suit in O.S.No.227 of 2014 on the file of the District

Munsif Court, Sriperumbudur, against the vendor of the petitioner viz., Selvasekaran as the first defendant and also against the petitioner as fourth defendant, for declaring the sale deed executed in favour of the petitioner as null and void and the same is pending.

3.During the pendency of the civil suit, suppressing the same, the 5th respondent has filed a writ petition in W.P.No.2383 of 2025 seeking for disposal of her representation dated 12.07.2024, to cancel the patta in the name of the petitioner as regards the property in Sy.No.241/2A2 and 241/2B and to restore the same in favour of the 5th respondent. This Court vide order dated 31.01.2025 has disposed of the said Writ Petition and had issued a direction to the revenue authorities to consider the fifth respondent's representation dated 12.07.2024.

4.Pursuant to the said order, the revenue authorities have issued summons to the petitioner for enquiry on 05.06.2025, 21.07.2025 and 22.08.2025 and in reply, the petitioner appeared in person before the revenue authorities and had filed detailed written objections on 30.07.2025 and 08.09.2025. However, the same is yet to be considered. Hence, the present Writ Petition.

5.The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that a direction be issued

to the respondents 3 and 4 to consider the objection of the petitioner dated 08.09.2025, within a time frame as fixed by this Court. 6.The learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 to 4 would submit that the objection of the petitioner dated 08.09.2025 will be considered by the respondents 3 and 4, within a time frame as fixed by this Court.

7.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate for the respondents 1 to 4 and perused the materials available on record.

8.Since no adverse order is passed against the 5th respondent, notice to the fifth respondent is dispensed with.

9.In view of the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondents 3 and 4 are now directed to consider the objection of the petitioner dated 08.09.2025, in view of the pendency of the Civil Suit in O.S.No.227 of 2014, and pass appropriate orders, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and also the fifth respondent.

10.The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of. No costs.
