2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate for the respondents 1 to 3 and perused the materials available on record.

Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the writ petition, the the second respondent is directed to consider the application submitted by the petitioners seeking cancellation of patta issued in favour of the fourth and fifth respondents by conducting enquiry and giving opportunity of hearing to both the parties, pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
