O R D E R
The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 1st respondent to consider the Petitioner's Application for passport dated 10.09.2025 within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court.
2. Mr.Sugumar, learned counsel takes notice on behalf of the 1st respondent and Mr.S.Balaji, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) takes notice on behalf of the 2nd respondent.
3. It is the case of the petitioner that he had applied for Passport to the 1st Respondent on 08.09.2023 vide Application NO.CB21C5085074723 dated 10.09.2025. However, the said application has not been considered till date on the ground that a criminal case is pending against the petitioner in C.C.No.96/2005 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.IV, Coimbatore. Hence, the petitioner has come up with the present Writ Petition.
4. Though very many grounds have been raised, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it would suffice, if this Court issues a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's application dated 10.09.2025 and pass orders on the same within the time that may be stipulated by this Court.
5. On the above contention, this Court heard the learned counsel for the respondents.
