This petition has been filed to condone the delay of 558 days in filing the above CMA.SR.173750/2024.

2. Though notice served on the 1st respondent and his name is appeared in the causelist, there is no representation for the 1st respondent.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.P.Sankaranarayanan, learned counsel appearing for the 2nd respondent.

4. Having satisfied with the reasons assigned in the affidavit filed in support of this petition, delay is condoned. C.M.P.No.29969 of 2024 is allowed.

5. The Registry is directed to number the civil miscellaneous appeal and list the matter for admission, if it is otherwise in order.

6. It is made clear that the petitioner/claimant is not entitled to claim interest for the delay period of 558 days on the enhanced award amount in the event of her success in the appeal.

7. The Registry is further directed to print the name of Mr.P.Sankaranarayanan, as counsel for the 2nd respondent in the cause-list at the time of admission.
