ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed for a Mandamus directing the respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation, dated 12.11.2024.

Upon hearing the learned Counsel for the petitioner and perusing the affidavit filed in support of the Writ Petition, it can be seen that the petitioner's husband namely, M.Vignesh Gokul, died on 22.08.2024. The petitioner, thereafter, made an application for grant of Legal Heirship Certificate. When the same was taken up for enquiry, it is stated by the respondent that the petitioner did not furnish the particulars of the parents of the deceased and as such, the Legal Heirship Certificate was denied.

3. However, the learned Counsel for the petitioner would now furnish the details of the parents of the deceased. His father name is G.Manoharan, who pre-deceased the said M.Vignesh Gokul. His mother's name is G.M.Gunavathy.

Accordingly, the petitioner shall make a representation to the respondent within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a webcopy of this order without waiting for a certified copy of this order by mentioning the said persons' names also and furnishing particulars of the death of the father, Manoharan also. Thereafter, the respondent shall take up the application of the petitioner once again for consideration and issue Legal Heirship Certificate in the manner known to law. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of the said representation.
