This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the first respondent to complete the enquiry with respect to the petition submitted by the petitioner on 28.11.2024 and to pass final orders.
2. Heard Mr.G.Rajkumar, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.N.Naveen Kumar, learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents.
3. The grievance of the petitioner is that patta was issued for the subject property to persons, who had purchased the property through fraudulent transactions. Hence, an appeal was filed before the first respondent for cancellation of patta. Since there was no progress in the enquiry, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.
4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and on going through the materials placed before this Court, it is seen that enquiry is now pending before the first respondent. In view of the same, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to deal with the petition submitted by the petitioner on 28.11.2024 on its own merits and 2/4
in accordance with law and take a decision within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording opportunity to all the parties concerned.
This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
