O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by R.SURESH KUMAR,J.) The petitioner seeks a direction to the respondent Town Vending Committee to consider his representation dated 24.10.2024 seeking to establish a bunk shop in the location, which he has mentioned in the petition.

2. However, learned counsel for the respondent Corporation, by relying upon a status report dated 21.02.2025 would submit that the location that has been mentioned by the petitioner seeking such permission to establish a bunk shop is just in front of the Court Complex in Egmore area, which has already been declared as a non-vending zone. Therefore, the question of considering the petitioner's representation for grant of such permission does not arise.

3. Recording the said submission of the learned Standing Counsel for the Chennai Corporation, the prayer sought for in this writ petition since cannot be granted, the same deserves to be dismissed. Accordingly, it is dismissed. No costs.
