Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the impugned selection and allotment orders issued by the 2nd respondent vide Memo 1/5

No.047651/G.11/G.112/2025-3, dated 07.08.2025 and quash the same as far as non-inclusion of the petitioner is concerned, and further direct the 2nd respondent to re-consider the appeal submitted by the petitioner dated 22.08.2025 and include the petitioner's name in the selection list with all consequential benefits. ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed challenging the order dated 07.08.2025 passed by the second respondent, thereby rejecting the appeal filed by the petitioner seeking inclusion of his name in the selection list.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

It is seen that though the present Writ Petition has been filed challenging the allotment orders issued to various circle as per the internal selection for the post of Assistant Engineer (Electrical), the petitioner has also filed an appeal before the first respondent seeking consideration of his candidature 2/5

under the 3% reservation for differently abled persons as provided in the TANGEDCO proceedings No.119, dated 29.11.2012.

4. In view of the above, the first respondent is directed to consider the appeal submitted by the petitioner dated 22.08.2025 and 23.09.2025 and dispose of the same on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
