in the writ schedule property based on the application reference No.200090330324774 dated 22.03.2024 within a time frame stipulated by this Court.

O R D E R

Since no action has been taken on the application of the petitioner dated 22.03.2024, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

2. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner has made an application on 22.03.2024 before the official respondents to provide electricity connection to the property situated at No.17, Plot No.15, Devi Nagar, Nethaji Street, Thiruverkadu, Poonamallee, morefully described in the writ schedule property, however, the same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit

that it would suffice, if the respondent Nos.1 and 2 are directed to dispose of the application of the petitioner, dated 22.03.2024 on merits and in accordance with law, within a specified period.

4. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing for the respondents 1 and 2.

5. Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the respondent Nos.1 and 2 to consider the application of the petitioner, dated 22.03.2024, if not already considered, and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 4 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There

shall be no order as to costs.
