PETITION under Article 226 of The Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing respondents 3 and 4 to take action in the petitioner's Application No.2024/0105/07/559354 dated 06.6.2024 direct to survey the petitioner's vacant plot land and issue patta to the petitioner.

ORDER
Seeking a direction to respondents 3 and 4 to consider the petitioner's online application dated 06.6.2024 to conduct a survey and issue patta to him in respect of the property measuring 450 sq.ft. in plot No.51A, survey No.157, R.S.No.141/1, Pattanur Village, the petitioner is before this Court.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader accepting notice for the respondents.
3. The case of the petitioner is that he purchased the subject property vide sale deed dated 16.9.2013 registered as doc.No.4820 of 2013 on the file of the Sub-Registrar, Vanur. After purchase, the petitioner is in possession and enjoyment of the same. Due to financial constraints, the petitioner intended to sell the subject property. Hence, the petitioner made several online applications to the third respondent for subdivision patta transfer. Last of such applications is dated 06.6.2024. However, no action has been taken on the same. Hence the writ petition.
4. Considering the limited nature of the relief sought, the writ petition is allowed and a Mandamus is issued to the third respondent 2/4
to consider the online application of the petitioner dated 06.6.2024 to conduct a survey in respect of the subject property. The petitioner shall submit all the relevant records to show his title to the subject property and the third respondent shall, after issuing notice to the adjacent land owners and interested parties, hold an enquiry and thereafter pass orders either surveying and subdividing the subject property and issuing the patta or rejecting the request. In case of rejection, a speaking order shall be passed. The aforesaid exercise shall be completed within a period of 6 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
