PRAYER :- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, pleased to issue Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent herein to consider the petitioner's representation dated 27.09.2024 for an appeal, to reissue patta for survey no.4/4 to an extent of 0.60 acres situated at No.60, Septankulam Village, Cheyyar, Thiruvannamalai district.

ORDER

The petitioner is before this Court as he is aggrieved by the fact that the appeal filed by him on 27.09.2024 for the cancellation of patta has not been disposed of todate.

2.Heard the learned counsels on either side and perused the records. Mr.P.Sathish, the learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of respondents 1 and 2.

3.Considering this limited request, the present Writ Petition is allowed and a mandamus is issued to the first respondent to consider and pass orders on the appeal dated 20.05.2024 after giving personal hearing to the petitioner within a period eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4.Accordingly, the Writ Petition is allowed with the above directions. No costs.
