ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard learned counsel for the parties.

2. As against the allegation of inaction on the part of the respondent authorities in removing encroachments on Survey No.181/10 recorded as burial ground and Survey No.224/4 recorded as barren land, learned State counsel, upon instructions, informs that, upon survey, encroachments were found, proceedings have been drawn by issuing notices under Section 7 of the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act, 1905, and an order under Section 6 of the Act has now been passed on 10.11.2025.

3. Upon such disclosure, no orders are required to be passed in the writ petition. The writ petition is closed, leaving it open for

the authorities to remove the encroachments on the basis of the order that has now been passed. There shall be no order as to costs.
