ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to assign patta in favour of the petitioner for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition based on the petitioner's representation dated 11.09.2025 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. The petitioner claims that under the free land assignment scheme for the landless poor persons, the petitioner is entitled for assignment patta in his favour for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition. The petitioner had given a representation on 11.09.2025 to the respondents, seeking for assignment of patta. Since the said representation has not been considered till date, this writ petition has been filed.

3. Till date, counter has not been filed by the respondents.

4. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if the petitioner's representation as stated supra is considered on merits and in accordance with law within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

5. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation.

6. For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the first respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representation dated 11.09.2025, seeking for assignment of patta in favour of the petitioner for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after giving due consideration to the documents submitted by the petitioner along with the petitioner's representation.

7. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of.
