This writ petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to transfer the patta in the name of the petitioner for the property admeasuring to an extent of Acre 8.44 cents vacant land comprised in S.No.13/2, T.S. No.16, Block No.1(5Acres 4 cents) and S.No.18, T.S.No.7, Block No.3 (3 Acres 40 cents), which is situated at Number 190, Semmencheri Town, Ward-F, Shollinganallur Taluk, Chennai District based on the Online application bearing CAN No.133210111803134 application No.2025/0153/02/039381 dated 23.7.2025 within a time frame fixed by this Court.

2. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that insofar as the subject properties are concerned, it is purchased by double documentation. Therefore, the direction sought for by the petitioner cannot be considered.

Without expressing any opinion on merits of the writ petition, the second respondent is directed to consider the online application dated 23.07.2025 made by the petitioner and, after issuance of notice to the petitioner and counter parties, if any and giving them personal opportunity of hearing, to pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
