ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.M.Subramaniam J.) Contempt Petition has been instituted to punish the respondents for their willful disobedience of the order dated 15.03.2024 in W.P.No.6774 of 2024.

2. Learned Special Government Pleader would submit that the representation submitted was disposed of, and subsequently, a survey was conducted and authorities identified six encroachments. Out of the six encroachments, three encroachers have vacated the Government Poramboke land, and in respect of remaining three encroachments, enforcement actions are in progress.

3. It is needless to state that authorities are bound to conclude the enforcement action and remove the encroachments by following the proceedings as contemplated under the relevant provisions of the Act. However, respondents have not committed any willful disobedience

warranting any action under the provisions of the Contempt of Courts Act.
