Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to issue appropriate instruction to the 2nd and 3rd respondents to cancel the patta in Survey No.682/2 which is wrongly issued in the name of late Mr.Parasuraman and his wife 6th respondent herein for the 1st petitioner's property and the 2nd petitioner's property and consequently issue the patta for 1525 sq.ft. (3 1⁄2 cents) in Survey No.682/2 in the 1st petitioner's name and patta for 1115 sq.ft. (2 1⁄2 cents) in Survey No.682/2 in the 2nd petitioner's name by considering the petitioner's representation dated 25.03.2020 and 19.05.2025 within a time frame as stipulated by this Court.

ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for cancellation of subject patta for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
2. It is now brought to the notice of this Court by the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 5 that, enquiry has already been commenced in the application submitted by the petitioners seeking for cancellation of patta. However, he would submit Page No.2 of 6
that the petitioners will have to submit all the necessary documents to enable the official respondents to consider the petitioners' application seeking for cancellation of patta. He further submits that once the necessary documents are furnished by the petitioners, the 2nd respondent shall pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
3. For the foregoing reasons, this Writ Petition is disposed of, by directing the 2nd respondent to pass final orders on the petitioners' application, seeking for cancellation of patta, for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, after considering the objections, if any, from the private respondents as well as any other third party, whom the 2nd respondent deems fit to enquire, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioners' application. No costs.
