PRAYER The Habeas Corpus Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India directing the respondents herein to produce the body and person of the detenu by name Aanandham D/o. Durai aged about 22 years before this Court and set her at liberty.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by J.NISHA BANU, J.) The present Habeas Corpus Petition is filed by the mother of the detenue to direct respondent Nos.1 to 3 herein to produce the body and person of the detenue, namely, Aanandham, D/o.Durai, before this Court and set her at liberty.

2. On 09.10.2025, when the matter was listed, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor accepted notice on behalf of the respondents and sought time to produce the detenue. Hence, the matter was adjourned to 23.10.2025 for production of the detenue.

3. Since the detenue has been secured, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor seeks permission of this Court for listing the case as additional list today. Accordingly, the matter is listed today.

4. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the detenue, aged about 23 years, is produced before this Court. We have interacted with the detenue. She refused to state anything, but expressed her willingness to go with her mother. The 4 th respondent is not present before this Court.
