Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to remove the electricity overhead lines extended over the petitioner's patta land and on the way to the said patta land comprised in SF No.94 and 97/1 at Bagalur Village, Hosur Taluk, Krishnagiri District, by considering the representations of the petitioner dated

07.10.2024, 02.11.2024, 09.12.2024, 13.12.2024 and 14.12.2024, within a time frame fixed by this Court.

ORDER

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the second respondent to remove the electricity overhead lines extended through the petitioner's property in SF No.94 and 97/1 at Bagalur Village, Hosur Taluk, Krishnagiri District, by considering his representations dated 07.10.2024, 02.11.2024, 09.12.2024, 13.12.2024 and 14.12.2024. within a time frame fixed by this Court.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that the respondents erected electric poles and have taken electricity lines through his property without his consent. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation on 13.12.2024, requesting the respondents to remove the electric lines and the same has not been considered. Hence,the petitioner has come before this Court.

3. Mr.S.Madhu Sudanan, learned Standing Counsel, who takes notice for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law.

4. Though the petitioner made various allegations against the respondents, the learned counsel the petitioner confines his arguments regarding request for removal of the electric lines taken through the property of the petitioner without his consent.

5. In view of the above, this Court is inclined to direct the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 13.12.2024 and pass final orders on its own merits, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order, after giving opportunity to the petitioner.

6.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
